CHP operator and planner conference in Wittenberg
The S&L team had already planned a CHP operator and planner conference in Lutherstadt Wittenberg in May 2020. This meeting fell victim to the first Corona wave and has since been postponed several times. Now the decision has been made to hold the conference on May 19 and 20, with a two-year delay.
The aim is to familiarize CHP operators and engineering companies with the "Lambda-1" alternative and to raise awareness of its advantages (high overall efficiency and extremely low exhaust emissions). A visit to the 4 x 1.5 MWe CHP plant of the Wittenberg municipal utility will also serve this purpose. This CHP plant has attracted attention throughout Germany, mainly due to its unbeatably low exhaust emissions.
The motto of the conference goes beyond Lambda-1: It is about the stricter exhaust emission limits to be complied with by all CHP operators from 2025/2029 in accordance with the 44th BImSchV. Some interesting and top-class speakers could be won for this. The conference promises valuable information for CHP operators and planners and an interesting exchange with experts and sector colleagues. The presentations will be held in German.
