Christian Frekers strengthens project team

Due to the growing project business in the SOLUTIONS division, we have been able to strengthen our team with the hiring of Dipl.-Ing. Christian Frekers as of April 1, 2021. Christian has already excellently familiarized himself with our team and our project business. We are very pleased to have found a new employee in him, who will not only strengthen us, but due to his experience will also be able to bring new aspects into our project business.

Interestingly, Christian Frekers started his professional career with an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer at August Storm. Thus, his joining S&L is a return to the roots - a basic understanding of combustion engines is certainly a good prerequisite for a successful work at S&L. After studying mechanical engineering, Christian gained his first experience in CHP plant engineering as a project manager at OSMO Anlagenbau, before working for 4 years at MAN Energy Solutions in Augsburg as a lead engineer in the development, design and execution of combined cycle and heat recovery systems in international large diesel engine power plants. He then spent a further 8 years as a sub-project manager in the systems engineering department for gas turbines at MAN Energy Solutions in Oberhausen, working on a number of international energy projects.

At S&L, the engines and plants Christian Frekers is dealing with are considerably smaller, but he is looking forward to a comprehensive range of tasks, which he can responsibly supervise in cooperation with his experienced colleagues. The whole S&L team is pleased about the successful reinforcement and wishes Christian Frekers much success, joy at work and many satisfied customers.
